Urbanears Humlan Review

Humlan is a brand new concept in headphones from Urbanears.
To all my music lover readers, here’s a quick review on my personal encounter with this product.

“Humlan is a brand new concept in headphones from Urbanears. Just like your favorite T-shirt, Humlan’s headband and ear cushions can be removed and thrown in with the wash. Because Humlan belongs to the Urbanears family, it also comes with some handy features like the Zound Plug for instant music sharing, and a microphone and remote for picking up calls and hands-free talking.” via

One thing I really love about this product is the washable feature especially if you’re planning to get the white too. We all know how white is easily stained and unlike any other headphones, Humlan allows you to wash the ear cushions and headband for hygiene and to make your headphones look good as new. Also the wonderful thing about Humlan is it’s Zoundplug feature. Zoundplug is a socket that allows you to share music with someone else through another pair of headphones. Again, as a Registered Nurse I really find this very hygienic as well because I’m very OC with sharing of one headphone and personally I believe it’s really not advisable. Humlan also has a Microphone & Remote feature that allows you to take calls, fast forward or rewind the music in just one button.

Here’s the Audio details (in case you’re curious):
40mm Dynamic Drivers
Frequency Response: 20Hz-20kHz
Impedance: 32Ω
Sensitivity: 100dB
Max Input Power: 100mV@1kHz

And since I’m not really a professional gadget reviewer, in my personal view I really think the audio is pretty nice and solid!
Urbanears Humlan is available at the following stores: The A-Shop, Digital Hub, Digital Walker, Astrovision, Automatic Center, Beyond the Box, Bratpack, Complink, Digital Arena, Digital Hub, District 32, Egghead, Electroworld, Heima, Hobbes and Landes, iCenter, iGig, Islands and More (NAIA T3), iStore, iStudio, Lazada Online, Listening Room, Mobile 1, Music Colony, iBook, Quicksound, R.O.X., Secret Fresh, Senco Link, SM Music & Video, Switch, Sync, The Inbox Store, Trilogy, Urban Athletics, Vertex, iBook.

A bit expensive, but I think it's worth it. Besides, compared to other headphones, they're already a steal. Thanks for the review, sis 🙂

Love that it's washable, but I'd probably get a different color. Purple, perhaps. 🙂
