Textures on Soirée

Textures, peplum and small framed sunnies are one of the few things that’s pretty much new about me today.

Cayman Eyewear from FOUREYES; Soirée Top and Skirt from SM GTW; Shoes from NALEIGH

I was never really the type who’s keen with textures. I barely have textured clothes in my closet since I never really considered collecting them before. So now, I guess this season means a whole closet renovation for me starting from getting the pieces I overlooked before.

Now, highlighting the curves per say a Peplum is brilliant for hourglass and inverted triangle body shapes. And luckily, I’m in one of the choices to freely wear Peplum. Since I’ve been skipping Peplum since the day it trended, I decided to give it a try this time. Honestly, I wasn’t really attracted to the design at first. The details got me so intrigued from the cuts to the texture.

For my choice of accessories, I wanted to go for something less and basic but chic at the same time. As much as I imagined to pair this look with a cats eye, my instinct draws on to this Cayman sunnies that I got from FOUREYES because of it’s simplicity yet classiness. Now to give this look a slight variation from classy to fun, a fun printed shoes would always do the trick. Thanks to NALEIGH for adding an extra spice to today’s look.

I think peplum top doesn't suit girls with wide hips like me because it will make it more obvious. I envy you, you can wear almost everything 🙂
