NYX Siren Review
They say color speaks so much about a person’s mood. If you like light shades then you can probably be an innocent and sweet kind of person.
And if you like dark shades, then you can be fierce and strong. Yesterday I found this perfect shade of lipstick.
If you want to learn more about it, continue reading below.
NYX Siren (code: MLS32) comes in a deep burgundy shade with a hint of purple when applied on the lips. The color sometimes vary on some photos depending on the lighting. If it’s too dark, your lips would have a darker shade of red but under a bright light the color changes to a brighter red. This shade fits any skin tone however I don’t really recommend you to wear this on regular days if you’re the type who hates stares and second glances.
To compare this shade with other lipstick brands, NYX Siren is close to MAC’s Diva and Sin, Revlon’s Black Cherry and Bobbi Brown in Crimson.
NYX Siren comes in a medium matte finish. It’s very creamy and pigmented which makes it last for hours. The only thing I hate about this lipstick is how it dries up my lips. I also find it so hard to re-apply evenly on my lips again after eating or drinking something. Not so “re-touch friendly” for me. Overall, I would still recommend this shade if you’re up for a vampy look without spending too much.
