I believe that I can do anything if I work really hard for it.
My friends call me Rhea Bue(Bu-we). I’m currently making a living through my regular day job as a Social Media Specialist under 1DMG. Unfortunately this blog doesn’t really serve as a big revenue for me to earn as much as I earn at my regular day job. I started blogging 10 or more years ago without the intent of making money, get freebies or even get popular. I started blogging because I wanted to share my story and my experiences and somehow touch other people’s lives. Before I even turned this blog into a fashion & beauty blog, I used to share my rants and personal insights. Pretty much just random things. Despite my randomness years ago, I’m really really grateful to have made really good and genuine friends online. I must say that they’re a BIG part of my blogging career. I am very proud to say that I started off as a nobody and basically just a fan girl of those famous international bloggers. I lived a simple and an average life and my dreams pushed me to be where I am now. I can’t really say that I’m SUPER successful now, but I guess it’s safe to say that I achieved most of dreams already. Before I even put an end to this paragraph, let me share the quick history to how my fashion blog started. My first #ootds started with just my mom’s closet (yes I borrowed most of my mom’s clothes before) and most of it were “brandless”. And because I realized that just dressing up for nothing was useless, I decided to document each of my outfit and share them online. Now if you’re reading this part and you wish to start your own fashion blog as well, here’s my piece of advice: You don’t have to be filthy rich and wear the most expensive brands to be a fashion blogger. You just have to be creative and passionate.
Aside from being a full-time digital girl, I have my treasured license as a Registered Nurse. I graduated from Ateneo de Zamboanga University and yes! I’m a proud Zamboanguena who lives and tries to pursue her dreams here in Metro Manila.
If you ask me what my weapon of choice is when it comes to blogging? A calm brain when composing a blog post and a good camera to show-off a good set of pictures to everyone. And since I get a lot of questions regarding my camera and photo editing tools, I use Fujifilm XA2 at the moment. For my photo editing, most of the time I use Adobe Photoshop CS2 or CS5. For my instagram photos, I use VSCO app with the filter of C5.
